At Active Driving School, we believe that an "active driver" is a perceptive driver, and is therefore a safer driver. We focus our instruction on teaching our students how to remain active drivers as opposed to being passive/distracted operators.
We accomplish this goal of developing "active drivers" by employing several tools both inside the classroom and behind the wheels. Some of which tools include teaching our students how to acquire and process information while driving, in an effort to perceive potential traffic situations well in advance of their actual occurrence. We want our students to be proactive drivers and not mere reactive drivers.
We strongly encourage parents, driver coaches, and mentors to attend our orientation sessions which take place on the first day of each classroom cycle. We hope you will also accept our invitation to audit some of our classroom sessions. Let us show you first hand what we mean by active driving.
